ABOUT ME

First off, thank you for showing interest in my writing. Your support means the world to me!

I am a writer originally from Murray, Kentucky, a tiny town at the state's western tip. I have a love for travel, coffee, yummy vegan treats, and everything in between. I lived in Melbourne, Australia for a stint before moving to my present location: Wilmington, North Carolina, where I am (somewhat) learning to surf and (mostly) nearly drowning every time I mount the board.

I am an MFA candidate in Creative Writing at the University of North Carolina, Wilmington, with a Concentration in Environmental Writing. I am also pursuing a Certificate in Publishing.

I write short stories that explore the gray areas of humanity with a heaping dose of fabulism. Most of my essays are grim and unsettling at heart (so sorry), and likely the places you'll find the clearest glimpse into my life. I also have an eco-dystopian fantasy novel in the works.
